PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Under the Beautiful Youth Program, we have so far sources hygiene products to over 100 girls in the state of Georgia and have continued to do so each year, since 2019. Our goal at Brighter Days Housing is to continue to partner with local high schools in the Atlanta region and throughout the state of Georgia in effort to reach more at-risk girls. In partnering with them we will have the opportunity to provide hygiene kits to teenage girls attending their schools. Under this program there are a number of services we will offer in the future:  

Mentoring Club: We are excited to launch the mentoring club as part of our Beautiful Youth Program. In year one of operations, our focus will be on Confidence Building, where we will touch on various topics that speaks to beauty, character building, emotional intelligence, and much more. The girls in attendance will have the opportunity to interact with special guests and speakers, they will have the opportunity to connect with and support their peers, they will also participate in special projects like vision boarding and much more. Those seeking full mentorship will be matched with a mentor who they will touch base with twice monthly. Because of COVID-19, we will start off this initiative virtually. This club will be offered every 3rd Saturday of the month, during the school year.

Day Camp: During the summer months, we will offer day camp activities where parents interested in the ongoing personal development of their daughters can drop their girls off. Camps will last 6 weeks and will follow a curriculum that targets various areas of development, to include: career goal setting, create arts exploration, field trips, and more. This program will be launched in 2023.

Overnight Camp: The overnight camp is another fun opportunity for young teenage girls to connect, make new friends, and participate in personal development activities where they will learn new skills like cooking, baking, sewing, and more. Those who register for this camp will stay overnight for 4 to 7 consecutive days and can look forward to making lifetime memories and connections.
